BIO

DIMMI is a French artist who produces deep house music. He grew up in a city close to Paris and started to play music at an early age. He played the saxophone for several years.

When he became older he created a rock band with three friends and became the singer/guitarist. This was DIMMI’s first experience in the music scene.

His influence are varied:  At first he started of as being Daft Punk, Air, Laurent Garnier and some old rock bands influenced DIMMI. Later on in 2012 he started to compose electronic music. He was then influenced by artists like Bakermat, Parov Stelar, Joris Delacroix and more underground artists like Nicolas Jaar or Bonobo.

In the late of 2012 his love for deep house grew fast because it enabled him to mix his love for electronic music with the melodic sound of instruments. The first release of DIMMI turned out to be a great one for the long run: ‘Promesses’ featuring B. Lacoste. This track immediately received lots of positive attention from the crowd and well-known artists all over the world. And by now his first track ‘Promesses’ has over 16 million plays on Spotify and 5,5 million on Youtube. And still has viewers on a daily basis. Not bad for a first track!

And he has not been taking it easy ever since! With tracks like Dizzy, The Storm & Just Me Now in cooperation with the South African super duo Goldfish and in 2017 Found U featuring the Brazilian talent Zeeba. DIMMI also worked on collaborations and remixes for others artists like Lenny Kravitz or Kylie Minogue.

In 2018 he also co-directed and co-writed songs on the last album of the French singer Gaëtan Roussel.

DIMMI is currently working on his new singles and has many tracks to release in 2019.
